William Walker Atkinson was an American writer and editor associated with New Thought. Thought Vibration (1906) combines advice on attention, will and habit with claims about mental influence and the law of attraction. New Thought is a distinct movement, not another name for Theosophy. HIPS retains the historical argument while distinguishing its metaphysical and health claims from demonstrated evidence.
